Internal linking with intent
Isolated pages get less traffic and less understanding than connected ones. Twenty minutes of linking can wake up work you already did.
Links describe relationships
When your article about panel upgrades links to your panel upgrade service page using words that describe it, you are telling both readers and machines how the two relate. Do that consistently and your site stops being a pile of pages and becomes a structure.
The rules that matter
- Every article links to the service page it supports.
- Every service page links to two or three supporting articles.
- Link text describes the destination — not 'click here'.
- No important page should be reachable only from the sitemap.
The orphan check
List your most important pages. For each one, ask: if I deleted the menu, could a reader still get here from another page? If the answer is no, that page is an orphan, and orphaned pages typically receive less visibility than their production cost warrants.
